Life Happens in Acacia: Creators of Acacia

This August, Acacia Estates residents, content creators, and aspiring storytellers are invited to share their own "A Day in My Life" through a 30- to 60-second short-form video.

Whether it's your morning routine, favorite neighborhood spots, family moments, work-from-home setup, fitness activities, or weekend plans, show us what a typical day looks like living in Acacia Estates.

Capture authentic moments that showcase your moments in a day  and reflect what makes everyday life in the township special. Through your story, bring to life Acacia Estates' tagline:

"A Distinctly Suburban Life in the Metro."

CONTEST MECHANICS

1. Create a 30- to 60-second "A Day in My Life" video showcasing your life moments in a day in Acacia Estates.

2. Upload your entry as a Facebook Reel, Instagram Reel, or TikTok video. Make sure your post is set to Public.

3. In your caption, answer the prompt:

"How does your everyday life in Acacia Estates reflect 'A Distinctly Suburban Life in the Metro'?"

4. Include the hashtags: #LifeHappensInAcacia and #CreatorsOfAcacia

• 1 submission only per participant.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

Video Length: 30 seconds to 60 seconds

Content

Videos must be filmed primarily within Acacia Estates and should showcase what a typical day in your life looks like.

Here are the samples of moments to feature:

• Morning or evening routines

• Preparing meals or enjoying coffee

• Working or studying from home

• Spending time with family or pets

• Visiting parks, amenities, or neighborhood establishments

• Exercising or enjoying outdoor activities

• Running errands within the community

• Weekend activities with family, friends, or neighbors

• Any everyday moments that reflect life in Acacia Estates

The video should tell an authentic story about your daily life while naturally highlighting what makes living in Acacia Estates a distinctly suburban experience within the metro.

Creative Guidelines

Participants may use:

• Voice-over narration

• Background music

• Natural sounds

• Text overlays

• Basic transitions and editing

Videos should feature authentic, original footage captured by the participant.

Restrictions

• Videos must be original and created solely by the participant.

• AI-generated videos are not allowed.

• Basic editing is permitted, provided all content complies with copyright policies.

• Videos should promote safe and responsible use of community spaces.

• Entries containing inappropriate, offensive, unlawful, or harmful content will be automatically disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY

• This contest is open exclusively to residents of Acacia Estates.

• DMCI Homes employees and their family members up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join.

To officially join the contest, participants must complete the submission form through the link below.

• Post your entry on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok and ensure that your post is set to Public.

• Only original content created by the participant will be accepted.

• Only one (1) entry is allowed per participant.

RIGHTS AND USAGE

• DMCI Homes shall have the right to use and reuse, publish and republish the entries, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other materials, in print or digital format, for editorial, commercial, promotional, advertising, and other marketing purposes.

• Participants retain ownership of their original work. By joining the contest, participants grant DMCI Homes permission to use their submitted entries for the purposes stated above.

• Winners may be invited to participate in testimonial stories or featured content to be published on the DMCI Homes website and official social media channels.
