Capture Photo Contest : Through The Years

Capture the vibrant lifestyle within your Community through genuine emotions, a distinctive set of values, and cherished traditions and showcase the transformative journey over time through compelling photographs. 

MECHANICS:

1. DMCI Homes’ Capture is open to all DMCI Homes homeowners and residents.
2. The contest will run from August 30 to November 30, 2023.
3. DMCI Homes employees and their family members up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are not allowed to join the photo contest.
4. DMCI Homes shall have the right to use and reuse, publish, and republish the entries in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with print matter, or in composite form, and in any medium, for editorial, commercial, promotion, and/or trade purposes.
5. Grand Final entries will be posted on our DMCI Communities Facebook Page for online voting.
6. Winners are also subject for testimonial stories to be featured in local broadsheets, DMCI Homes websites, and social media accounts.
7. For submission of entries, please follow these steps:

• • Comment your entry on Facebook with the required hashtags #KaHomes #DMCICapture2023
  • Follow our Instagram account @dmcicommunitiesph
  • To validate your entry, email a high-resolution photo (minimum 4MB) to communities@dmcihomes.com. The photo should be in JPEG or PNG format, attached as a file, and not embedded within the email. Failure to do so could result in an invalid entry.
  • The email should include the following information:

1. 1. 1. Name of participant
      2. Property name
      3. Building name and unit no. (if applicable)
      4. Facebook and/or Instagram account name
      5. Mobile number
      6. Story behind the photo

PHOTO ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Photo Caption   -     300 words or less, subject for correction. Be creative with your caption. It should tell the story or inspiration behind the picture you took.

Photo Editing    -      Minor digital modifications are allowed such as filters and image enhancements but not to the extent of distorting reality; no watermarks, borders, or frames, and adding or subtracting elements not within the original photograph.

No. of Entries   -      One entry per resident / unit.

Location             -       Must be taken inside the DMCI Homes community, your home, or at the amenity area.

Subject                -        Photo entries must use people as subject.

Hashtag              -        All photo entries should include #KaHomes #DMCICapture2023. Failure to comply will automatically deduct 10 points in entries.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

One winning entry will be chosen for each category based on the following criteria:

• Creativity 35% 

  -  The uniqueness in presenting the subject and scene through imaginative use of composition, perspective, and storytelling and the ability to evoke emotions through a distinct approach.

• Photographic Quality  35% 

  -  The overall visual aesthetics that showcase mastery of photography techniques. This includes the technical execution, clarity, and sharpness of the photograph.

• Feel Good/Inspiration Message 30% 

  -  The depth and authenticity of the caption in conveying the story or inspiration behind the image.
