In Photos: Siena Park Residences Shows The Way in Volunteering Activities
Like a fine wine that gets better with age, community spirit in Siena Park Residences in Parañaque City is growing stronger by the day. Thanks to its residents who have made it their duty to look after one another.
It’s the same attitude that they want to share outside their community. Siena Park Residences is made up of a community that aims to make a difference in the society.
Council members and residents of Siena Park Residences stood by their community's philosophy “teamwork makes your dreams work,” last July 7. They joined hands with DMCI Homes employees for a house-painting activity for the benefit of their neighbors at the Gawad Kalinga’s Manggahan-Kawayanan Village in Parañaque City.
Here are some snaps of our dedicated volunteers in action.
Eager to help. Siena Park Residences residents line up to register as official members of the team to help in the activity.
Getting started. For the activity, volunteers were asked to apply primer on 15 housing units and color 11 others slated for turnover.
Feels real good to help. Still all smiles after the activity, residents find it a great experience to treasure. As one of them puts it: “Hindi mo mararamdaman yung pagod kasi alam mong may matutulungan ka.”
Team lunch. No good deed goes unrewarded. The volunteers’ instant reward came in the form of a sumptuous boodle fight prepared by the housing beneficiaries.
Job well done! Happy with how the activity turned out, Siena Park Residences residents, together with DMCI Homes employee volunteers pose for the camera, with their best smiles.
