DMCI HOMES: CAPTURE 2024

ELIGIBILITY

  • DMCI Homes’ Capture Contest is open to all DMCI Homes homeowners and residents.
  • DMCI Homes employees and their family members up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are not allowed to join the photo contest.

MECHANICS

  • The contest will run from November 18 - 25, 2024.
  • Eligible entries will be posted on the DMCI Communities Facebook Page for online voting.

STEPS TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES:

  1. Follow our Facebook page: facebook.com/dmcicommunitiesph
  2. Post a comment on the official contest announcement with your photo entry, and include the hashtags #RealGoodLifestyle and #DMCIHomesAt25.
  3. To validate your entry, email a high-resolution photo (minimum 4MB) to communities@dmcihomes.com. The photo should be in JPEG or PNG format, attached as a file, and not embedded within the email. Failure to do so could result in an invalid entry.
  4. Include the following details in your email:
    1. Name of participant
    2. Property name
    3. Building name and unit no. (if applicable)
    4. Facebook and/or Instagram account username
    5. Mobile number
    6. Story behind the photo (caption)
  5. Email subject format: DMCI Homes Capture 2024 – (Property Name) | (Name)

PHOTO ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • The photo caption should be between 100 to 300 words, explaining the story or inspiration behind your photo. Captions may be edited by DMCI Communities for grammar, length, or clarity before posting.
  • Minor digital modifications are allowed such as filters and image enhancements but not to the extent of distorting reality; no watermarks, borders, or frames, and adding or subtracting elements not within the original photograph. Failure to comply will automatically deduct 10 points in entries.
  • Only one (1) entry is allowed per resident or unit.
  • The photo must be taken within a DMCI Homes community, either in your home or within a community amenity area.
  • The main subject of the photo should be a pet, reflecting the Sparkling Silver Christmas theme.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Creativity and Originality

Entries will be assessed on creativity and originality, with a focus on capturing unique perspectives, innovative ideas, and playful interpretations of the theme.

Visual Appeal and Technical Quality

Entries will be evaluated by its technical aspects, such as composition, clarity, lighting, and well-considered framing.

Storytelling

The caption should be thoughtfully written, and enhances the photo by telling the story or inspiration behind it.

Setting and Background

Entries should feature or incorporate recognizable elements of a DMCI Homes property or community amenities.

  • First Runner-up: Php 3,000
  • Second Runner-up: Php 2,000
  • People’s Choice Award: Php 3,000
  • Top 5 Finalists: Php 500 each

CONTEST SCHEDULE

SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES ONLINE VOTING FOR PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
November 18 – 25, 2024 November 27 - December 1, 2024 December 9, 2024*
  • Only photo entries selected and posted on the DMCI Communities Facebook page will qualify for the People’s Choice Award, which will be determined by the total number of reactions and shares. The counting period will close on December 1, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
  • Likes or reactions from auto-like bots will not be counted, and any participant using them will be disqualified.
  • *All winners will be announced during DMCI Communities’ Year-End Party.

RIGHTS AND USAGE

  • DMCI Homes shall have the right to use and reuse, publish, and republish the entries in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with print matter, or in composite form, and in any medium, for editorial, commercial, promotion, and/or trade purposes.
  • All contest participants consent to potential feature stories in DMCI Homes’ social media accounts, website, or local publications.
